The Brief
What’s in The Brief?
Three minutes of art and design each morning, chosen in Gramercy, New York: the day’s main story, then art, design, and one item each from New York, London, Paris, Tokyo and Mexico City.
How do I sign up for The Brief?
Enter your email on the homepage. We send a confirmation email first; confirm it, and The Brief starts the next morning. You don’t need an account.
Why haven’t I received The Brief?
It arrives at six a.m. Eastern from brief@thira.co. If it isn’t in your inbox, it is usually in Promotions, Updates or Spam. In Gmail, search in:anywhere from:brief@thira.co to find it. If you signed up recently, confirm your subscription first.
How do I keep The Brief in my inbox?

Editions
Will an Edition be made again?
No. When an Edition sells out, it is not made again.
How are Editions shipped?
Insured, from New York or directly from the artist's studio. Shipping is calculated for each work at checkout. See Shipping & Returns.
Can I return an Edition?
Editions are final sale. If a work arrives damaged, we will replace it where another is available, or refund it in full.
Private Sessions
How do I hear about upcoming sessions?
Sessions are announced in The Brief. Places are limited.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancel at least seven days before for a full refund. Within seven days, you may transfer your place to another guest.
Can you tell me about access at a venue?
Yes. Write to us before booking and we will tell you what the space involves.
Guides
Is it a PDF?
No. It opens on your phone, with the map, and stays current.
Why are the entries short?
On purpose. Each one is what you’d tell a friend: where to go, what to look at and why it’s worth the trip. The rest is better found when you get there.
How long is it mine?
For good. One payment, and every update is included.
Is a Guide updated after I buy it?
Yes. Your purchase includes web access to the Guide, which is updated as places open and close.
What if a place closes?
We take it out, or note it, the week it happens.
Is there a print edition?
Print is sold out for now. The digital Guide is complete on its own.
