This Membership Policy outlines the terms and conditions for paid membership on thira.co (“Website”), operated by Thira (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By subscribing to a membership, you agree to the terms below in addition to our general Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
1. Overview
A Thira membership grants access to member-only content across our platform, primarily original stories and city guides. Some content remains freely accessible to all visitors, but full access requires an active, paid subscription.
Membership does not include physical goods or discounts unless explicitly stated on the product or membership page.
2. Subscription Terms
Membership is billed annually and renews automatically each year unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Platform: Payments are processed securely via WooCommerce Subscriptions. You will receive confirmation by email after subscribing and before each renewal.
3. Account and Access
To access your membership, you must create an account with a valid email address and secure password. Your membership is for personal use only and may not be shared, resold, or transferred.
Members are responsible for keeping login credentials confidential and for any activity under their account.
4. Cancellations
You may cancel your membership at any time through your account dashboard. Cancellation will prevent future renewals, but you will retain access to member content until the end of your current billing period.
Cancellations do not trigger refunds for any unused time.
5. Refunds
All membership fees are final and non-refundable. By subscribing, you acknowledge that you are purchasing access to digital content, which becomes available immediately upon payment.
6. Membership Changes
We may modify or update membership pricing, features, or access terms at any time. If significant changes are made, we will notify active members by email in advance of renewal. Continued use of your membership constitutes acceptance of any updates.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate any membership that violates our Terms & Conditions, including account misuse or unauthorized sharing of content. Terminated memberships will not be refunded.
8. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes arising from membership will be handled according to the jurisdiction clauses in our Terms & Conditions.
