Information

Thira is an editorial and advisory practice anchored in art & culture, design, style, and travel. Named for a still island in Greece.

The editorial work takes three forms. Stories arrive seasonally—essays, interviews, and reflections that trace culture with clarity and tone. Objects extend the same lens into form: garments, scents, prints, and other pieces chosen for their craft and presence. Guides map cities in detail—hotels, restaurants, cafés, shops, galleries, and the order in which to move through them.

Membership is by invitation. Members receive stories, objects, and guides alongside Member’s Morning—a personal note from the editor every Monday. Guides are available separately.

Advisory is a separate practice, available to a limited number of clients each year. Bespoke Itineraries handles travel end to end—flights, hotels, transfers, reservations, and on-the-ground coordination. Art Advisory builds personal collections across galleries, fairs, and the primary and secondary market. Seasonal Interiors refreshes furniture, lighting, and objects season by season, in a limited number of homes.

Thira is edited by A. Sakae, based in New York.
